OCFW Welcomes Darlene Franklin


      OKC Christian Fiction Writers will host best-selling Darlene Franklin on Saturday, November 18th, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. She will speak on Vision Correction: How to Really See. She will show how to identify objects in familiar and unfamiliar environments, how to come up with a basic story idea, and choosing a genre for the story. She encourages for anyone to bring photographs, journaling, and sharing to practice the skills.

      Mrs. Franklin is the best-selling hybrid author of 52 unique titles and editor of the just released group collaboration, Cracked Ice: What Happens When the Lights Go Out? Her greatest claim to fame is that she writes full-time from a nursing home. She lives in Moore near her son, and is expecting her first greatgrandchild in January. Mermaid Song is her fiftieth unique title! She’s also contributed to more than thirty nonfiction titles. Her column, “The View Through My Door,” appears in four monthly venues (including Oklahoma Senior News and Living.
