Ms. Y’Barbo will speak on Make Me Care: The Fundamental Promise of Storytelling. In a world where books are cheap or free and choices abound for readers, how do we make our readers stop shopping around for their next book and read ours? Make them care. It is as simple and as difficult as that. Learn more about the elements of the promise of storytelling and how to make your readers care—with a few tips from the expert storytellers at Pixar!

Kathleen Y’Barbo’s latest book, Firefly Summer, published by Redbud Press, was released June 23, 2015.
