OCT Meeting: Lacy Williams- Making Facebook Work for You

OKC Christian Fiction Writers will host multi-published author Lacy Williams on Saturday, October 17, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Ms. Williams will speak on Making Facebook Work for You. Frustrated by how little reach you have using some of Facebook's features? Join Lacy as she shares strategies to reach your tribe of readers who want to buy your books.

Ms. Williams’ latest book, Her Cowboy Deputy, published by Love Inspired Historical, will be released in October, 2015. USA Today bestselling author Lacy Williams works in a hostile environment of three bosses age 5 and under. She lives in Oklahoma with her hubby, those small tyrants, and two Spaniels.

She started her publishing career with Harlequin Love Inspired Historical in 2011 and has written ten additional books for that line. And she has somehow managed to be a hybrid author since 2011, also indie publishing 13 books & novellas. Her books have finaled in the RT Book Reviews Reviewers' Choice Awards, the Golden Quill and the Booksellers Best Award.

In 2014, Lacy launched inspirational romance publisher Redbud Press with her two partners. As Managing Editor, Lacy has a passion for helping authors get their stories out to readers, especially when it is a “book of their heart” that hasn’t yet found a home, or a backlist book that deserves new life. September Meeting: Linda Goodnight

OKC Christian Fiction Writers will host author Linda Goodnight on Saturday, September 26, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Ms. Goodnight will speak on Marketing and Your Social Media Personality. Do you feel overwhelmed with the abundance of online platforms and marketing possibilities? In this workshop, you'll discover your social media personality and learn the best online places to focus your marketing strategy.

Linda Goodnight’s latest novel, THE MEMORY HOUSE, published by HQN, was released in April, 2015. New York Times and USA Today bestseller, Ms. Goodnight, writes novels to touch the heart as well as to entertain. Her stories of hope have won the RITA , the Carol, the Reviewer’s Choice, and numerous other industry awards.

A small town girl, Linda remains close to her roots, making her home in rural Oklahoma. She and her husband have a blended family of eight, including two teenagers recently adopted from Ukraine.
