Membership Drive: email/blog post draft

Hello!

Was one of your New Year’s resolutions to write a novel in 2010? To finish the book you’ve been working on for years? Or take your writing to the next level?

Why not join a local writers group that can help you achieve your goals? Try OCFW on for size!

What is OCFW? We are a chapter of the American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW) that meets in Edmond, OK. We are a group of writers, some published, some seeking publication, who want to glorify God in our writing.

We meet once a month at the Mardel Christian & Education store located at 3300 S. Boulevard in Edmond, OK. Our meetings are on the fourth Saturday of each month. We have a time of fellowship beginning at 12:30 pm and our meetings start promptly at 1 pm.

Our meetings include speakers on a variety of subjects, information on current events in the Christian fiction market, brainstorming, fellowship, and the chance to interact with other writers.

We have a FANTASTIC lineup of speakers for 2010 (see below), and we hope to see you at one or more of our meetings. You are welcome to visit two meetings without placing membership; after the second meeting we ask that you become a member to continue attending.

If you would like more information about our group, please email chapter president Lacy Williams at ljyw@cox.net. I hope to see you at one of our meetings soon!

Sincerely,

YOUR NAME
